Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer for our North Carolina region, based in Havelock, NC, with Jacksonville, NC as an additional site. This role supports construction project teams with document control, coordination, procurement, and onsite QA/QC efforts.

We welcome 1+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree; relocation may be required for certain roles. The position is full-time, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering or related field.
• Relocation may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality control / quality assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
