The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the management of construction projects from conception to closeout, emphasizing cost control, scheduling, and coordination. You will work closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery while upholding the firms commitment to quality, transparency, and client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to manage day-to-day onsite activities.
• Review drawings, specifications, and building materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support cost control efforts by tracking project expenses and identifying value-adding opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear updates and fostering strong relationships.
• Utilize BIM and Revit (preferred) to support project coordination and documentation.
• Contribute to problem-solving and decision-making to keep projects on track and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in construction management or engineering (preferred but not required).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities (tact, diplomacy, negotiation).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, and industry practices.
• Experience with BIM and Revit is a plus.
• Passion for delivering high-quality work and enhancing the client experience.
