Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

As a Construction Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of our projects. You will work with the project manager to handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and more.

Description

• Assist in overall project management, from pre-construction through project closeout.
• Collaborate with the project team, including the Project Manager, Superintendent, and subcontractors, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Assist in managing project budgets, cost tracking, and change orders.
• Conduct project inspections and document deficiencies.
• Provide technical support to the project team and resolve construction-related issues.

Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry as a construction project engineer.
• Familiarity with commercial construction practices and processes (preferred but not required).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
