Job summary

Large General Contractor in Pacific Palisades, CA is seeking an experienced Construction Project Engineer to support a large public works project. You will manage engineering tasks, coordinate RFIs and submittals, read plans and specs, and ensure smooth project workflows.

Candidates should have a B.S. in Construction Management or related field, 2+ years in project engineering (DSA/LAUSD preferred), and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, or similar tools.
• Minimum 2 years' construction experience in a project engineering role, preferably DSA or LAUSD.
• Familiarity with construction documents, RFIs, submittals, and project workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
