Job summary

J-Corp Development is hiring for a hands-on position in Salt Lake City focused on construction project management and estimating. You will work directly with the General Manager, Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This entry-level development role offers training with increasing ownership. The position is in-office with limited hybrid flexibility after proven performance and communication.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in building a career in construction Project Management or Estimating.
• Professional communication with subcontractors, vendors, clients and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate when needed.
• Willingness to learn construction drawings, specs, scopes of work, budgets and schedules.
• Willing to learn construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager and Project Managers with project priorities and documentation.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change documentation, meeting agendas and notes.
• Coordinate calls, meetings, site visits, due dates and communications with subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain organized contracts, proposals, budgets, drawings and project records.
• Identify missing information and communicate needs to the team.
• Increase ownership of coordination tasks as experience grows.
• Read plans and specs to understand scope and trade coordination.
• Assist with bid distribution, pricing and preconstruction coordination.
• Participate in project and subcontractor meetings to learn estimating and buying out.
