Job summary

ABEL Construction Company in Lexington, KY is seeking a Project Manager Assistant to support the project management team from project setup through closeout. You will help keep construction documents, contracts, billing, and communications accurate while working with project managers, accounting, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• One+ years of administrative, receptionist, or office support experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Support project management from setup through closeout with documentation, billing, and communications.
• Coordinate with project managers, accounting, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel to keep records accurate.
• Maintain and track subcontracts, purchase orders, owner contracts, and related records.
• Assist with AIA billing and online payment portals in coordination with PMs and accounting.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable coordination, lien waivers, and job cost reporting as assigned.
• Maintain project files, logs, bids, correspondence, and submittals; coordinate RFIs and transmittals.
