Job summary

Stoa Group, a growing multifamily construction and development team in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and corporate teams to keep documentation accurate and construction moving forward.

Responsibilities include managing project records in Procore, coordinating permits, change events, licensing, and startup tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting commercial or multifamily construction projects in roles like Project Coordinator, Construction Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Construction Administration preferred.
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Create and maintain project records, contacts, addresses, inspections, and closeout documentation.
  • Assist with project startup by coordinating job trailers, storage containers, fuel tanks, and utility accounts.
  • Support subcontractors and vendors by providing Procore training and troubleshooting.
  • Upload permits and documentation to municipal and fire marshal portals.
  • Create change events and equipment purchase orders.
  • Coordinate licensing requirements for current and future projects.
  • Maintain office supply inventory for field offices.
  • Attend project meetings, document action items, and keep teams aligned.
  • Track project documentation and assist with startup, permitting, closeout, and coordination.
  • Support multiple projects while balancing changing priorities

What You’ll Do

As the Construction Project Coordinator, you’ll serve as the administrative hub for multiple active construction projects, partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and our corporate support teams.This position reports to the Director of Construction Operations - Carolinas and partners closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and corporate support teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Procore experience preferred.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments
