Carolina Builders & Design is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support all phases of construction in North Carolina. The role involves preconstruction, procurement, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years construction/project management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning and managing multiple construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and meeting minutes.
• Assist with estimating, bid solicitation, and procurement.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained in Procore.
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and closeout documentation.
• Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining timelines.
