Job summary

University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors (UMEC) in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to handle jobsite administrative duties for projects across semiconductor, data center, healthcare, higher education, and manufacturing markets.

The role reports to the Project Manager and requires 2–3 years of administrative experience, strong skills in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Vista-Viewpoint, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 2–3 years administrative experience, preferably in construction.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Access, and Powerpoint, Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, and Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software).
  • UMEC requires all new hires to be vaccinated for COVID-19. This position will require the successful candidate to show proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination.

Summary

University Mechanical is currently seeking a Project Coordinator to perform the jobsite administrative duties and functions for projects in various markets including Semiconductor, Data Center Markets, Healthcare, Higher Education, Data Center, Manufacturing, and a wide range of other markets. The position requires at least 2-3 years of administrative experience.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
  • Must have a minimum of 2-3 years administrative experience, preferably in construction;
  • Basic knowledge of Safety, Accounting, Purchasing, Subcontracts, Project Start up & Close-out, Contract, Submittals, Pre-Planning, Scheduling, Project Evaluations, Project Changes, and Operating Procedures;
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge and work experience showing the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, & Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, and Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management & Accounting Software);
