Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations across CMiC and Textura, including project setup, A/P, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role works with Project Accounting, Operations, and other teams to ensure transactions are processed accurately and documented on time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
• Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as accounting representative in Accounts Payable workflow; review invoices for coding, accuracy and compliance.
• Perform project and accounting setup in CMiC and Textura; ensure completeness.
• Maintain employee charge rates and job profiles in Workday.
• Handle Textura reconciliations, weekly payment authorizations and lien waivers.
• Prepare month-end close tasks; journal entries and reconciliations.
• Research and resolve discrepancies across invoices, contracts and payments.
• Support internal/external audits and maintain accounting records per policy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
