Job summary

Frontline Source Group is seeking an experienced Project Accountant in Atlanta to join a growing construction accounting team. The role focuses on billing, subcontractor payments, contract review, and job-cost analysis across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project accounting within construction, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail. This is an in-office, full-time position with opportunities to support project closeouts and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project accounting in construction required.
• Experience supporting multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of subcontractor payments, owner billings, POs, contracts, and job costs.
• Experience reviewing project financial data and job-cost reports.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; payroll experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process subcontractor payment applications, POs, and invoices for multiple projects.
• Assist with setting up new projects in Procore, Vista, and GC Pay.
• Ensure accurate entry of subcontractor payments and POs in GC Pay.
• Review project contracts and supporting financial documentation.
• Meet monthly with project teams to analyze job costs, budgets, and variances.
• Prepare and process monthly owner payment applications.
• Submit project files and track payment status; follow up on outstanding payments.
• Track Section 3 and Davis-Bacon requirements and collect compliance forms.
