Job summary

Wright Brothers Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant to ensure accurate project costing, timely reporting, and compliance with company procedures.

You will partner with project managers, operations, subcontractors, and the accounting team to monitor costs from initiation to closeout. The role emphasizes job cost accuracy, revenue recognition review, and preparation of financial statements, with opportunities to influence budgeting and forecasting within a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience with General Ledger, Job Cost accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with construction ERP software.
• Knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with Viewpoint and HCSS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and enter monthly project costs and invoices.
• Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and budget versus actuals.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close for projects.
• Produce financial statements and project reports from multiple systems.
• Assist with monthly projections and budget reconciliations.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to ensure compliance.
