Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a driven accounting professional for construction project accounting in a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ (opportunities in Los Angeles, CA as well). You will support complex projects, prepare financial reports, and ensure revenue recognition accuracy under GAAP.

The role requires 2 years of accounting experience in construction and strong Excel skills; CMiC or Textura experience is preferred. This position offers hybrid work arrangements and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Finance or relevant field with 2 years accounting experience or equivalent.
• Construction project accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge and construction accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; CMiC or Textura experience preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS Business, Finance or relevant curriculum and 2 years of accounting experience or A/AS and 4 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.


• Construction project accounting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).


• Experience in construction accounting.


• Experience with construction financial documentation.


• Strong Excel experience.


• CMiC or Textura experience is preferred.


• Ability to work independently and demonstrate ownership of processes.

• This position will be located in either Los Angeles, CA or Phoenix, AZ.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $58380.8 to $102166.4.
