Job summary

Essential Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Construction to manage construction project schedules for multiple projects, coordinating information from stakeholders and guiding the construction organization.

This is primarily an office-based position with a focus on schedule, data accuracy, and project controls. The role requires a BS in engineering or a technical field with 8+ years in design, estimating or construction PM, plus proficiency in MS Office and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other technical field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Multi-tasking ability to prioritize, organize, and schedule work.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and coordinates with Project Managers, Supervisors, Managers, and Operational Field Staff on information related to various projects across business areas and geographical markets.
• Ensures accuracy of reported data to update and analyze project schedules, budgets and metrics.
• Oversees construction schedules for self-performed and subcontracted projects of various scope and size.
• Manages multiple projects and identifies project categories (small, medium and large) of low to moderate complexity.
