Role Title: (OSP/FTTH) Construction Program Manager (Multiple Positions)
Location: Austin TX, Des Moine, IA, Denver, CO, Charlotte, NC and Durham, NC

Job Functions
Program Oversight & Tracking
• Manage and track greenfield fiber projects from inception through completion using Salesforce and Sitetracker.
• Perform desktop feasibility studies and cost estimates for Outside Plant (OSP) construction.
• Monitor joint trench timelines and ensure timely delivery of conduit to project sites.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary liaison for joint trench design vendors, overseeing plan submissions and As-Built documentation.
• Complete intake and assessment forms (e.g., SFU PASS model, BBO intake) for internal review on project exceptions.
• Engage directly with homebuilders, developers, and utility companies to explore trench-sharing opportunities.
Data Analysis & Field Support
• Identify new opportunities using permitting and development data sources (e.g., Zonda).
• Provide on-the-ground support to identify local fiber competitors and analyze joint trench potential in target markets.
• Support performance reporting and coordination with internal and cross-functional teams using standardized templates and processes.

Core Skills & Experience
Required:
• 3+ years managing construction projects for cable/fiber providers in a joint trench environment.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, operations, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of CAD, GIS systems, and FTTH (Fiber to the Home) documentation.
• Experience working with power, cable, or telecommunications providers.
• Proficiency in SFU Greenfield design and build environments.
Preferred:
• 3+ years designing fiber networks and/or building against a fiber design matrix.
• Familiarity with GIS tools such as 3GIS, QGIS, or Earth.
• Direct experience engaging homebuilders and developers for trench-sharing initiatives.
• Proven success managing multi-disciplinary teams and vendor relationships.

Competitive Salary: Approximately $151,000 – $172,000 annually, based on a $60-$70 per hour rate.
