Job summary

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Construction Program Manager to provide project support to the VP of Facilities and Construction, developing proposals and plans, and ensuring milestones and quality. You will coordinate tasks and represent the department in project team meetings.

The role requires 5–8 years of related experience and a two-year college degree or equivalent certification. Proficiency with 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and strong communication, scheduling, and risk analysis

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of similar or related experience.
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
• Experience in construction estimating and scheduling, and working with construction companies and vendors to ensure milestone targets are met with high quality.
• Experience with 3D modeling tools and computer-aided design software (AutoCAD and Revit).
• General knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction safety. Familiarity with PMBOK and construction/process improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction/renovation project support as assigned by the VP of Facilities and Construction; oversee or coordinate tasks for facilities and construction projects.
• Recommend improvements or solutions for the department regarding construction, build, and renovations including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Ensure tasks and schedules are tracked and documented appropriately, leading to implementations that meet project milestones.

We are currently seeking a Construction Program Manager to join our organization. As the Construction Program Manager, you will provide construction project support to the VP of Facilities and Construction in the development of project documentation including proposals and project plans. You will oversee or coordinate tasks for facilities and construction projects as assigned. You will ensure contractor and 3rd party vendors perform work with quality, and in conformance with contract and project milestones. You will recommend improvements or solutions for the department regarding construction, build and renovations. You will complete work in alignment to the project management framework and represents the department in project team meetings.

What You'll Do:

• Provide construction/renovation project support as assigned by the VP of Facilities and Construction Oversees or coordinates tasks for facilities and construction projects as assigned.
• Recommend improvements or solutions for the department regarding construction build and renovations including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Ensure tasks and schedules are tracked and documented appropriately, resulting in implementations that meet expectations of project leads and sponsors.

Demonstrate ability to understand processes and define user requirements by using expert interviewing skills.

What You'll Need:

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience
• A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Key Skills and Experience:

Experience in construction estimating and scheduling and working with construction companies and vendors to ensure milestone targets are met and with high quality.

• Experience with 3D modeling tools and computer-aided design software (AutoCad and Revit).

General knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and construction safety. Working knowledge in the project management framework (PMBOK), and construction and process improvement methodologies.

Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.

Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.

Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.

Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive innovative strategies and implement them in a timely, effective manner.

Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.

Experienced in MS Office programs to include Excel, Word, 365, and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
