Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support a major project in Indianapolis, IN. You will oversee program activities, provide technical leadership, and ensure ethical and safe practices across the program.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience, travel to project sites in the region, and a track record of managing complex programs. On-site work and day-one onboarding are part of the role.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 10+ years of experience working in project management, program management and/or construction management.
• Experience working with large, advanced manufacturing, technology and/or corporate sector clients.
• Ability to travel to project sites in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess long-term and disruptive trends in their area of expertise.
• Proposes skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future.
• Actively supports the attraction and retention of talent across area of expertise.
• Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 or more-years of experience working in project management, program management and/or construction management
• Experience working with large, advanced manufacturing, technology and/or corporate sector clients
• Ability to travel to project sites in Northeast Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southwest Michigan
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
