Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Line Roller for first shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, weekends off) at our Topeka, KS facility.

The role involves assisting on construction lines, moving homes between stations, and performing related manual labor tasks in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and can operate common hand tools; prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Use torque pusher to roll home from station to station.
• Sweep in between homes.
• Sort recyclable materials.
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Stock materials as needed.
• Aid production line with other tasks, as needed.

Summary

Works Construction projects in an assigned department by performing the following tasks:

Tools Required

Able to use hand tools, air tools and electrical tools.

Standard tools: Stanley/Utility Knife, tape measure, hammer

Education And/or Experience

High school education or GED; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
