Job summary

gpac is seeking two Construction Project Managers in Southeast Michigan to lead construction engineering and inspection teams as part of an established civil engineering firm.

The roles require 5+ years of PM experience on public infrastructure, a Civil Eng/Construction Management degree, and MDOT/LAP knowledge. PE preferred. Hybrid office and field work in Farmington Hills area with growth and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience on public infrastructure.
• PE preferred (Michigan PE or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction engineering/inspection on road, bridge, water main, sewer and stormwater projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets and staffing of field inspection teams.
• Serve as the main contact for municipal, county and MDOT clients, contractors and agencies.
• Oversee contract administration: pay estimates, change orders, RFIs, submittals and quantity tracking.
• Ensure QA/QC, documentation and compliance with plans, specs and State/Federal (LAP) requirements.
• Maintain client relationships and support new business.
