Job summary

Sundt Construction in Nashville seeks an experienced project leader to guide complex builds from preconstruction through completion. You will direct safety, quality, scheduling, and budget control to deliver profitable projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating with estimators, superintendents, and clients; developing PMP, managing procurement, and ensuring timely payments; leading change management and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in preconstruction and in managing construction projects.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Champions the transition of projects from estimating to field with review meetings covering contract requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Completes close-out requirements and punch lists; manages warranty callbacks to maintain owner relationships.
• Coordinates with the Project Superintendent the methods required for successful, profitable work.
• Establishes the PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, time, financial, quality, safety and risk plans.
• Responsible for project profitability, safety, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction; oversees budgeting and cost control.
• Manages billing, payments, and cash flow; ensures prompt pay with subcontractors.
