Century Mechanical Holdings in the West Palm Beach area seeks a skilled construction plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial and residential projects.

You will read blueprints, work independently or as part of a team, and ensure all work complies with local codes and OSHA standards. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 pounds. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of commercial and residential plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with PVC, CPVC, cast iron, copper, PEX, and other piping materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, waste, and vent piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building plans.
• Lay out plumbing systems according to project requirements and code specifications.
• Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and pumps.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform pressure testing and inspections of plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues during construction phases.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and work orders accurately.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures and construction site conditions.
