Job summary

Nisga'a MOSTT, LLC seeks a Construction Project Planning and Scheduling and Construction Project Execution Instructor to support the Naval Construction Training Center in Gulfport, MS. The role involves teaching planning, estimating, scheduling, reporting, and project execution for naval bases and related sites.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of construction inspection experience, strong project lifecycle knowledge, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction inspector experience.
• Ability to plan, estimate, schedule, and report on construction projects at existing naval bases, advanced bases and selected off-base sites during peacetime and contingency operations in accordance with NTRP publications.
• Pass a background check.
• Preferred: previous teaching or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, estimate, schedule, and report on construction projects at existing naval bases, advanced bases and selected off-base sites.
• Develop project planning and management tools for NCF construction projects.
• Manage and oversee resource leveling, reporting, and interfacing with other agencies.
• Instruct on concrete and masonry construction principles and techniques including site layout, reinforcement placement, and finishing.
• Instruct Rough Carpentry framing principles and techniques for floors, walls, roofs and trusses.
• Instruct interior and exterior finishes including drywall, doors/windows, painting, ceilings, roofing, and stairs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
