Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking a Construction Planner for a US-based, Ohio Life Sciences project. This initial 12-month contract will focus on developing and maintaining detailed Primavera P6 schedules covering installation, testing, turnover, and weekly reporting cycles.

You will track field progress, analyze productivity and sequencing, conduct site walkdowns, and coordinate with Construction Managers and contractors to confirm percent complete and forecast dates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Extensive construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience supporting large capital construction projects.
• Experience in industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules in Primavera P6, including installation, testing, and turnover activities.
• Track field progress, productivity, and sequencing of construction activities with updated forecasts.
• Conduct regular site walkdowns and weekly coordination with Construction Managers, Area Leads, and Contractors.
• Develop and maintain 2-week, 6-week, and 12-week look-ahead schedules to support site coordination.

We are looking for a Construction Planner to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you will deliver:

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules in Primavera P6, including installation, testing, and turnover activities, in accordance with weekly/monthly reporting cycles.
• Track field progress, productivity, and sequencing of construction activities; incorporate verified progress quantities, actual dates, revised forecasts, and contractor submissions.
• Conduct regular site walkdowns and meet weekly with Construction Managers, Area Leads, and Contractors to confirm percent complete and forecast dates.
• Develop and maintain 2-week, 6-week, and 12-week look-ahead schedules to support site coordination, highlighting constraints, access limitations, material delays, and engineering hold points
