Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Commercial Pipefitter for Kodiak projects. The role focuses on reading drawings, laying out piping routes, and installing systems safely and accurately.

You will lead crews, work with various pipe materials, and ensure high-quality installations in commercial construction settings, following Kodiak and OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings.
• Strong knowledge of commercial piping installation methods.
• Experience with multiple piping materials and joining methods.
• Ability to lay out and install piping accurately.
• Ability to lead crews and maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Read plans, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation sequences.
• Lay out and mark pipe routes, connections, supports, and penetrations.
• Cut, thread, groove, braze, solder, and assemble piping.
• Install valves, fittings, and piping systems using steel, iron, brass, copper, and plastic.
• Install and connect commercial piping systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Pressure test piping systems and troubleshoot leaks.

Commercial Construction Pipefitter – Kodiak

Pay Range: $30-$40/hr

Kodiak is hiring experienced Commercial Pipefitters who know piping systems, can work from drawings, and take pride in installing work safely and correctly.

A Day in the Life

• Read plans, drawings, and specifications to determine piping layouts and installation sequences
• Lay out and mark pipe routes, connections, supports, and penetrations
• Cut, thread, groove, braze, solder, and assemble piping
• Install valves, fittings, and piping systems using steel, iron, brass, copper, and plastic
• Use pipe cutters, threading machines, band saws, reciprocating saws, torches, and other trade tools
• Install and connect commercial piping systems according to drawings and specifications
• Pressure test piping systems and troubleshoot leaks
• Identify field obstructions and make sound installation decisions
• Coordinate piping installations with other trades
• Direct crews to complete work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
• Follow all Kodiak and OSHA safety requirements
