Hiring a paralegal specializing in construction litigation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing legal documents: pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, deposition and summaries.
• Manages physical and digital files.
• Document production: collection, hosting, review, redaction, bates-stamping, duplicating, and indexing.
• Prepare and submit electronic filings with Federal and state courts.
• Prepares for and attends depositions and trials, as necessary.
• Performs a variety of research projects as assigned.
• Engage with firm’s clients, attorneys and staff.
• Provide additional support when needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience as a litigation paralegal or similar.
• Relevant knowledge of motions, discovery, documentation, court rules and practices.
• Extremely organized with ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WestLaw, Internet research skills, litigation management software, document management systems.
• Experienced with document collection, preservation, hosting, review and electronic document production platforms and software.

This position will be on-site 5 days a week for the first 60 days. After 60 days, this position will be hybrid: in office four days a week, one day remote.
