Job summary

Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead daily operations for a growing concrete construction company in Wisconsin. The role involves coordinating field and office activities, managing crews and schedules, and implementing systems to ensure projects move from bidding through completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive construction operations experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record building operational controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction operations, project management, or senior leadership experience preferred.
• Concrete construction experience highly preferred.
• Experience managing crews, schedules, equipment, and project resources.
• Strong understanding of construction lifecycles: bidding, estimating, and execution.
• Proven ability to implement systems, processes, and operational controls.
• Experience monitoring budgets, job costs, timelines, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across field and office to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate field and office operations, crews, and schedules.
• Visit job sites to observe operations and support crews and project teams.
• Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Provide leadership and effective communication across teams to drive growth.
