Job summary

Grand Portage Trading Post seeks a Construction Operator to drive and control heavy machinery such as bulldozers, cranes, excavators and graders to build roads, buildings and infrastructure. You will conduct pre-operation inspections, perform daily maintenance, maneuver materials and follow safety regulations on busy sites.

Must have CDL certification and OSHA safety training; background check and pre-employment drug testing apply.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar environments.
• CDL certification and OSHA safety training are required.
• Ability to work in challenging environments with noise, dust and mud, and lift heavy objects.

Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
