Job summary

Blue Heron is seeking an Area Manager in Las Vegas to oversee comprehensive operational and financial management for construction projects. You will lead training, optimize schedules, and ensure adherence to plans, codes, and quality standards.

The role requires extensive homebuilding experience, strong communication across audiences, and the ability to multitask across multiple projects while maintaining safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with homebuilding and construction.
• Solid communication, effective with a variety of audiences (employees, clients, trades & management).
• Multitasking, successfully switch between various tasks with ease.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and development for staff.
• Minimize cost and labor by reviewing schedules.
• Ensuring quality and consistency in all processes
• Identifying problems and finding solutions to address the areas of concern.
• Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.
• Ensure that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes and that high-quality standards are maintained.
• Oversee project reporting that accurately tracks site progress, events, inspections, and other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with the Construction Team and other departments at Blue Heron.
