Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Operations Engineer for construction and infrastructure. You will design, build and activate manufacturing facilities and develop dashboards, workflows, and metrics to improve performance across the department.

You’ll lead process improvements, integrate with multiple teams, and implement tools to reduce waste while aligning with site-wide goals. This role requires strong data analysis and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
• 2+ years in operations/process improvement (internships count).
• Experience with Excel, SQL, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal visual standards for work boards, JIRA queues, PowerBI dashboards.
• Support continuous improvement projects and standardization.
• Analyze current workflows and identify systematic gaps to drive change.
• Create department metrics and dashboards to measure health of operations.
• Execute SQL queries to identify trends for decision making.
• Develop reports, tools, and standardized metrics for operations.
• Build automation to reduce risk and increase factory efficiency.
• Conduct department-wide operations audits for maintenance.
• Enhance maintenance programs and descope unnecessary work.
• Implement tools to reduce wasted effort by engineers and techs.
• Analyze site services spend and roadmap improvements.
• Create reports for directors to improve communication with customers.
• Standardize material library and procurement to cut lead times.
• Coordinate with maintenance and construction teams at other sites.
