Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Construction Monitoring / Due Diligence Consultant to support the Places business with development monitoring across the US.

The role targets professionals from project/construction management, cost estimating or quantity surveying who can deliver high‑quality due diligence and monitoring reports for lender/investor clients. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, assess risk, review contracts, and engage with clients to build relationships as part of a strategic

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction related degree.
• Experience in Project Monitoring, Cost Estimating, Cost Management, Project Management preferred.
• Experience delivering data centres beneficial.
• Knowledge of property development and funding/procurement trends.
• Professional qualifications such as PMP, MRICS highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently undertake, lead and deliver Technical Due Diligence and construction monitoring reports for funder and investor clients.
• Review and catalogue financial security including Warranties, Third Party Rights, Performance Bonds and deposits.
• Review loan documentation to identify and monitor clauses for compliance and risk reports.
• Assess project sites, construction progress and supplementary data to assess risk and mitigation options.
• Assess project financial performance and provide risk advice including approving drawdowns.
• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in risk reporting delivery.
• Communicate effectively so information is ready for project completion.
• Liaise with managers to ensure efficient financial control and cost effectiveness.
• Be client facing and engage with clients to build relationships as part of business development.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
