We assisted over 3000+ customers with water and fire emergencies in 2023 across the DFW metroplex and are a full turnkey provider for our customers doing everything from Water and Fire Emergency Services, Moving and Storage of Contents, and Textile Cleaning all the way to Reconstruction.

SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction/Mitigation Laborer to join our team. As a laborer, you will play a key role in our mission to help communities recover from disasters by assisting with the cleanup, restoration, and rebuilding of properties affected by water, fire, storm, or mold damage. This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while building a rewarding career in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with water, fire, and mold mitigation projects, including cleanup, demolition, and restoration tasks
• Support construction team members with framing, drywall, painting, and other general labor tasks during the rebuild phase
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris, organizing materials, and following all safety protocols
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed
• Work alongside crew leaders, project managers, and other team members to meet project timelines and ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction, demolition, or restoration preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to safety
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime as needed
