Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Contracting Intern to support a variety of projects in Eastern Pennsylvania.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and/or business partners, applying what you've learned in class to various projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, dedicated, and quick to pick up new skills and knowledge, with the ability to meet physical requirements and wear PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to fit test and utilize PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Assist project managers and estimators with various tasks.
• Work under supervision of a project manager or a senior level team member.
• Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation
• Other duties as assigned
