Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. seeks a self-motivated Construction Management Intern to support a variety of projects in Eastern Pennsylvania. You will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and apply classroom knowledge to real-world construction tasks under supervision.

The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and prepared to assist project managers and estimators while gaining exposure to site safety, data collection, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled and in good academic standing in a bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field from a four-year college or university.
• Proficiency with Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision of a project manager or senior team member.
• Assist project managers and estimators with various tasks to support project delivery.
• Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation across projects.
• Other duties as assigned to support contracting projects.
