Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a warehouse/shipping clerk based at our Fredericktown, Ohio facility. The role supports field operations by processing items, filling orders, and maintaining inventory—interacting with customers, vendors, and managers as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in shipping/receiving, a high school diploma, and a proactive approach to organization and teamwork. The position runs Mon-Fri with some flexible hours to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years construction or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Experience implementing process improvements a plus.
• Experience in purchasing is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction tools, materials and supplies helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process items in/out of the warehouse/shop according to defined processes.
• Fill orders from the field for tools and supplies from inventory.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Team Lead.
• Maintain correct location and sorting of like tools.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and managers via email, phone, and virtual call.
• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to move materials (training provided).
• Assist with loading/unloading orders in/out of delivery vehicles.
• Receive, examine and route incoming shipments; handle damages/shortages with carrier.
