Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is hiring technicians for lab and field testing of construction materials across multiple Kansas offices. Locations include Lenexa, KS; Kansas City, MO; Junction City, KS; Wichita, KS; Emporia, KS; Garden City, KS; Salina, KS.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working outdoors in all weather conditions with strong math skills. This is a full-time, hourly position with pre-employment screenings; experience is preferred but substitutions are allowed for

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong math skills with algebra, trigonometry and geometry; chemistry knowledge is a plus.
• Full-time hourly position with pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings and driving record checks.
• Experience preferred; substitutions with relevant agriculture or construction background are common.

Seeking ambitious, career-minded individuals with strong math skills for lab and field testing of construction materials. This is a full-time position opening. Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

Experienced applicants preferred, however, proficiency in algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and chemistry could be substituted for the experience; historically many of our technicians have worked extensively in agriculture or construction prior to joining our firm.
