The role includes scheduling support, safety compliance, and progression toward higher responsibilities. The position requires a High School Diploma with certifications such as ACI Level 1 and OSHA 10; NICET is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • ACI Technician Level 1 certification is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 safety training is required or obtainable.
  • NICET certification would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt).
  • Communicate project requirements and results to stakeholders.
  • Transport material samples and documentation for analysis.
  • Prepare and submit written and digital reports to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatch.
  • Perform basic testing and observation duties under supervision.
  • Obtain ACI certification for reinforcing steel and conduct
  • Conduct soil compaction tests using nuclear density gauges.
  • Perform Masonry inspections and conduct grout/mortar testing
  • Ensure construction aligns with design drawings.
  • Discuss data accuracy with Project Manager.
  • Submit documentation and communicate results as directed.
  • Receive progressive training and increased responsibilities.
  • Maintain flexibility for early construction start times.
  • Adhere to safety rules and practices.
  • Maintain quality standards and equipment
  • Conduct Post tension inspections before and after concrete placement

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum 5 years in the field
  • Ability to work outside in different weather environments
  • ACI Technician Level 1
  • OSHA 10
  • CWI, ICC, PTI, + NICET would be a bonus!
  • Willing to work flexible hours, outside of the standard 8am-5pm
