Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $24.00/hr

Duration: 6-month contract to hire*

Pay: $19-24/hr

If you meet all the must-haves and plusses, you could be a CWI or Construction Inspector earning $28-36/hr*

Technical Must-Haves:

• 1+ year of experience in materials/construction testing
• Comfortable working 50-60+ hours during busy season
• Valid driver’s license
• ACI certification in one or more areas:
• Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
• Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operation

Plusses:

• ICC Certifications
• AWS or CAWI certifications

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

A client in the Dallas, TX area is seeking to add 5+ Technicians to their growing team to start before summer. Responsibilities include:

• Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel)
• Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors regarding site activities, testing, and inspection results
• Transport material samples with documentation to the laboratory for testing
• Prepare and submit data and observations in reports for daily transmittal to the project manager
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas
• Assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians; adhere to safety standards
