Job summary

TTL is seeking an ICC-certified Special Inspector to work on Southeast projects, including soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and fireproofing. The role focuses on on-site inspections and QA/QC testing to ensure compliance with local codes and project specs.

Ideal candidates have ICC certifications (all five preferred), ACI certification, and at least 3 years of inspection experience, with strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• ICC certifications in reinforced concrete, soils, masonry, structural steel, and fireproofing (all five preferred).
• ACI certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience performing special inspections and testing.
• Ability to communicate professionally in oral and written forms.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site observations and inspections to ensure compliance with local building codes and project specs.
• Collect samples per project requirements and ASTM standards.
• Perform QA/QC testing on construction materials and building components.
• Follow procedures and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and contractors.

Construction Materials Special Inspector - Multiple Locations

TTL is seeking an ICC-certified special inspector to work on projects in the Southeast. Primary duties include performing building inspections and QA/QC testing, including soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, fireproofing, etc.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• ICC certifications, including reinforced concrete, soils, masonry, structural steel, and fireproofing. All five certifications preferred.
• ACI certification
• 3 years' experience performing special inspections and testing
• Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment
