What You'll Do

ECS Limited offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Project Manager to join our [CITY] field services team and advance in a dynamic work environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of various projects, consulting with clients and project teams to meet deadlines from proposal to final invoice payment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the management of construction materials testing projects, including daily report review, collaboration with project teams, resolution of technical and administrative issues, and training field staff.
  • Manage project budgets, prepare invoices and pay applications, and assist with collection efforts.
  • Prepare and review proposals and change orders, prioritize tasks based on deadlines, host or attend project meetings, and follow up on reports.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support team development, collaborating with managers and recruiters for staffing decisions.
  • Market our services, establish new client relationships, and maintain existing ones.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Geology. Note: Construction Management and certain Technology degrees may not be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional licensure such as PE or PG.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance for driving on behalf of ECS.
  • Strong marketing skills and ability to build client relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of heavy construction safety practices.
  • Knowledge of CMT principles, ASTM standards.
  • Leadership and decision-making skills, effective collaboration with clients and teams.
