SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in the United States to perform field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, and asphalt on construction projects. You will document test results and support quality control efforts.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience, familiarity with standard test methods, and validity of licenses/certifications. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing or quality control inspection.
• Knowledge of standard test methods for soils, concrete, and asphalt.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word/Excel).
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I.
• ATTI Field Certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
• Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
• Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
• Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.
