Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team in Las Vegas. The role focuses on field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, and asphalt, with responsibilities to document test results and support quality control on projects.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials per standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites and document observations.
• Prepare accurate field reports, test results, and supporting project documentation.
• Maintain field and laboratory records and ensure data is complete and organized.
• Communicate test results and observations to project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards while working in the field.
• Assist with additional testing, inspection, and project-related duties as assigned.
