Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Driver in Port Washington, WI. You will safely deliver construction materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites and customers while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and forklift certification or willingness to obtain it. You will operate forklifts and assist with warehouse tasks as needed to support field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, warehouse associate, or in a similar logistics-related position
• Experience in construction, equipment rental, or industrial environments is a plus
• Experience performing basic maintenance on small equipment

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver construction materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to project sites and customer locations
• Plan and complete delivery routes in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Comply with DOT regulations, including trailer weight, load restrictions, vehicle inspections, and maintenance requirements
• Ensure equipment and tools are delivered to project sites when needed to support productivity and schedules
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment
• Obtain and maintain required equipment certifications
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep on small equipment
• Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing, staging, loading, and unloading materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery and equipment records using company systems and software
• Provide professional and courteous service to project teams, customers, vendors, and other company personnel
