Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking an entry-level team member to assist with construction materials testing and field observations in Fredericksburg, VA. You will support soils, concrete, asphalt testing, and document testing results while gaining hands-on experience in field and laboratory settings.

The role requires pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• 0 years of related experience.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• One certification must be completed within 90 days, and all basic certifications must be completed within 270 days of employment.
• A valid driver's license is required if driving for ECS.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
• Basic problem-solving and observational skills.
• Willingness to work in outdoor field environments and laboratory settings.

Responsibilities

The expected pay range for this role and location is $16-$18/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
