Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will perform on-site construction management services for transit projects. The candidate will manage construction inspection and office engineering staff daily.

Responsibilities:

• Manage office engineering functions including correspondence, submittals, logs, change orders, and documents.
• Provide quality control and assurance services during construction.
• Maintain liaison with client managers during projects.
• Assist in project administration, accounting, invoicing, and client payments.
• Ensure certifications for staff meet client needs.
• Collaborate with project executives and managers.
• Attend and oversee meetings with stakeholders.
• Support hiring and training staff for project needs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in complex transportation projects.
• Leadership qualities to supervise staff.
• Professional registration (Engineer or Architect) preferred.
• Ability to pass OSHA 30.
• Background checks and valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Details:

Pay Rate: $80.00 - $110.00/hour
