Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager Trainee to support the construction management process, schedule jobs, inspect sites for safety, and help complete punch lists and new home orientations. You will assist with model/inventory maintenance while engaging with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely home deliveries.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Construction experience is preferred.
  • Must work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.
  • Inspect and enforce job safety requirements.
  • Complete punch lists and assist with new home orientation lists.
  • Attend construction meetings and training classes as scheduled.
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and assist in model/inventory maintenance.

The Construction Manager Trainee supports the construction management process by assisting with job scheduling, inspecting job sites for safety compliance, and helping complete punch lists and new home orientation tasks. This role also ensures job site cleanliness, assists with model and inventory maintenance, and helps address service‑related issues. Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining job schedules.

Your Toolbox
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required or 0–2 years of homebuilding/construction experience.
  • Construction experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office products (Word and Excel).
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
  • Valid auto insurance coverage.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
