The Austin Airport Expansion Development Program (AEDP) is looking for two seasoned Construction Managers to provide field leadership for the $1B Arrivals/Departures Hall and $1.5B Concourse B projects. If you have a decade of experience in vertical building construction and thrive in a dynamic, active terminal environment, this is your chance to manage complex, high-profile work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of vertical construction within concourse and terminal areas from the field, ensuring stringent quality and code compliance.
• Act as the primary field liaison, coordinating daily activities between contractors, airport maintenance, security, and airline stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor contractor performance against schedules, review weekly work plans, and provide crucial input to the monthly pay application and change order reviews.
• Drive site safety and maintain a respectful working environment by coordinating with ROCIP, safety, and risk management teams.
• Provide thorough field oversight, documentation, and reporting, including Daily Construction Reports and tracking of deficiencies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with significant time spent in a Construction Manager or Superintendent role.
• Demonstrated experience in vertical building construction on or immediately around active airport terminals and concourses.
• Strong technical acumen in interpreting design documents, specifications, and minimum code requirements.
• Proficiency in construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 (P6 proficiency desired, not required).
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills on a high-pressure job site.
