HDR in the Northern CA Bay Area seeks a Construction Manager/Resident Engineer to lead construction planning, coordination, and field execution for substation facilities within rail transit systems.
You will develop procedures, manage procurement, review subcontract terms, perform value engineering, monitor schedules, and ensure safety and quality across the project while collaborating with owners, engineers, and contractors.

In the role of Construction Manager/Resident Engineer Construction Manager/Resident Engineer , we'll count on you to:
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 15 years of experience preferred in various aspects of construction planning and management, including but not limited to estimating, bidding, preparing and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, etc.
Construction or design certifications, PMP, and/or CCM. PE licensure desired but not required.
Prior rail transit agency or related experience
Prior experience on projects involving communication/electrical systems installation and integration
Experience with estimating software (Timberline), scheduling software (Primavera P3 or SureTrak), and project management software (Prolog)
Ability to interpret construction schedules
This position is subject to a preemployment drug test.
