Job summary

Kikiktagruk Inupiat Corporation seeks a Construction Manager to support Quality Control, Site Safety and Health Officer, and Superintendent duties on a federal contract at Big Bend National Park, Texas. The on-site role requires a constant presence to manage QC, safety, and field operations.

The incumbent will lead QC plans, safety programs, and coordination with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with FAR and EM 385.1-1/OSHA while delivering project milestones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with 5+ years as QC Inspector or superintendent on large projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience enforcing QC/Safety programs per EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of building codes and general engineering principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC plan, submittals, daily QC reporting and deviations.
• Lead safety inspections, incident reporting, OSHA Form 300/300A.
• Coordinate subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
• Maintain on-site presence and ensure EM 385-1-1 compliance.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings.
