Job summary

Legend Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the full-cycle of new home construction in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will coordinate schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and budgets from permit through closing, ensuring quality and adherence to company standards.

You will supervise contractors, manage safety and site cleanliness, and work closely with on-site consultants to keep projects on time and under budget, while delivering exceptional homebuyer experiences.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s degree in homebuilding or related field preferred.
• Spanish language ability preferred.
• Excellent time management, detail orientation, and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of multiple homes, in multiple communities, from start to finish.
• Maintain a high level of quality and consistency throughout each home.
• Ensure homes are built within the time frame allocated and within budget.
• Inform Purchasing of all take-off errors or material issues.
• Watch your expenses and stay at or under budget.
• Build rapport with home buyers and new homeowners.
• Manage relationships with trades and vendors.
• Maintain site cleanliness at all times.
• Adhere to jobsite safety at all times.
• Communicate with on-site New Home Consultants regularly.
• Redline start packages and distribute to trades and vendors.
• Ensure homes close as scheduled or earlier.
• Walk homes daily.
• Maintain organized files for each address.
