Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager with LNG project expertise to lead safe, efficient construction across large-scale LNG facilities from mobilization to commissioning and handover.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate contractors, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards while collaborating with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent construction experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years of construction management experience with significant LNG project experience.
  • Experience managing large EPC/EPCM or owner-led LNG projects.
  • Strong knowledge of LNG facility construction, cryogenic systems, piping, structural steel, mechanical equipment, and commissioning requirements.
  • Proven leadership managing large field teams and multiple contractors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of OSHA requirements and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and construction reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all field construction activities for LNG projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and construction personnel to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor construction schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks while driving timely resolution of field issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews, site inspections, and safety audits.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and project closeout activities.
